"The only song that was recorded in demo form twice before the album version. Someone my girlfriend had known for years posted on Facebook that he had a spare day in the studio if anyone wanted to go down for free and we jumped at the chance. While we were in the car to Guildford it was when we found out or got asked to play with Alkaline Trio. It took approximately 10 hours to try and get the drum track done for this one song and we ended up having to scrap it all and just use programmed drums throughout. Like the New Kings demo you can hear the horrible effect placed onto the vocals that I didn't have the confidence to ask to be taken off." - Benj Squibbs
lyrics
So it seems good guys really do finish last
All you have are lies I see through your disguise
Fool me once and shamed on you
What is your problem when I'm already out of the frame
Fool me twice and shame on me
You better run kid before the truth catches up with you
All the lights are shining down on you
And you've got nowhere left to move
One day she'll find out the truth
You wont get away with this
Honest eyes never speak when they're called into speak
When I was down you were the vampire sucking into me
would a human really do this to you?
Probably not but thats not what we're dealing with
Would a monster show you the truth?
